Coonough Chickens & Co. was founded in 2025 with our honesty box operating later on in 2026. Our experience with chickens stretches back over 3 years and along the way we have learned lots to help our hens produce the best quality of eggs.
We sell our eggs to the local community, from our honesty box at our location to orders received to us. Our eggs also sell further through Kildare & the Greater Dublin Area by our supporters.
Coonough Chickens was founded by Tadgh, a passionate young person looking for a job. Determined and skilled, Tadgh leads the business with a clear ethic, to provide people with fresh, traditional eggs but with an experience.

Tadgh now assumes the position of Managing Director continuing to lead, support & flourish Coonough Chickens & Co.
